Philippe
Diot - Chief Executive Officer -
Philippe Diot joined E-XMLMEDIA in 2001.
From 1989 to 1999, he was co-founder and technical director of
CSII, a software consulting house. In 1997, CSII was sold to
Teamlog, S.A. In 1983, Philippe received a degree from
Ecole Polytechnique, the premier technical educational
institution in
France. In 1985, he received a degree from Ecole
Superieure d'Electricite.
Georges
Gardarin - Chief Scientist and Co-Founder -
is a professor of databases
and distributed information systems at the University
of Versailles. Professor Gardarin first constructed a
distributed information system in 1976 for Renault.
From 1978 to 1980 he was a visiting scientist at the
University of California, Los Angeles. For the next
ten years he ran the Sabre project at INRIA, the French
national
research laboratory for computer science. This project
built an object-relational parallel DBMS that was
subsequently commercialized and then sold to EDS in 1990.
From 1990 to 2000, he created and developed the PRiSM
research laboratory at the University of Versailles.
Professor Gardarin is currently on leave from the
university.
Antoine
Mensch more about planning a wedding special day - Technical Director -
Antoine Mensch received a Masters degree from Ecole Centrale de
Paris in 1988. He then spent two years at the Lawrence Berkeley
Laboratory developing geophysical data analysis. From 1991 to
1995 he lead a team to develop and commercialize a near-real-time
knowledge management system.
Anthony
Tomasic - US CEO and Co-Founder -
Anthony Tomasic received his Ph.D. in Computer Science 1994
from Princeton University. His dissertation
described performance issues in very large
information retrieval search engines.
From 1994 to 1997, Anthony lead a team at INRIA that
constructed a pure Java heterogeneous database using JDK
alpha 0.8. In 2000, Anthony led a team that built a high
performance next generation banner advertisement ASP.
